I actually learnt somehting last week. Had gone to a skoda showroom last week. They said Skoda is going to display the Yeti in the auto expo early next year in New Delhi....and its going on sale from May 2010.

Been stopping over at skoda showrooms so many times (looking for Yeti news) ... that the wife has taken a liking to the Fabia (due to its size) and the kid has taken a liking to the Superb (due to its size!) What a wait this is proving!

Thanks Jayanth! this is indeed a long wait... I think the superb is a good choice too! except for the low ground clearance which is a sore point for Indian roads.
I inquired here in Bangalore today and they are expecting the auto expo to get a huge response to the yet...and that should make them hurry up on the delivery.
