My Yeti is on order - 8 weeks to wait! My current motor is an X-Trail which has been a faithful motor for over six years.
The change will be interesting. Both motors have 4 wheel drive which, on the face of it, operate in a similar manner. They both connect to all wheel when speed variations tell the car that grip has been lost. just that the way in which this is achieved is very different.
Both cars have a 2 ltr. engine but the performance from the Yeti far exceeds the X-Trail. For example:-
______________Yeti_________X-Trail
Horse Power____138,__________114
Combined fuel___46.3mpg______39.2
CO2 Emission___159,__________190
Turbo assist______No,__________Yes

So a similar size engine but greater performance from the Yeti. This is progress!

Hi Terfyn,
We,ve about 4 weeks to wait for ours. TDI 140 SE. It's going to be a while!
They are nice though, although my old Disco.2 takes a bit of beating off road but the Yeti will be a lot cheaper to run. We like to get to North Wales so will give you a flash if we ever see you!!!
The DVLA have some nice ##59 YET number plates!!
