empty"/nnIf you're a pick up truck operator, you recognize the benefits and value of the cargo box of that pick up truck. You can cart just about anything from your treasured recliner to a load of lumber. The only dilemma is that after a few calendar months of use, the bed floor and sides will start to show their age much more quickly than the rest of the vehicle. Dings, scratches, and dents will eventually appear... making the passenger truck look even older than it truly is - and much more importantly - will eliminate a lot of the value of the pickup.
We had the same issue, a stunning pickup truck - until you dropped the tailgate. The bed was dinged up pretty bad and it seriously took away the fantastic looks of the truck.

There are a few possibilities available to rectify that predicament... a spray-in pickup bed liner, a drop-in pickup bed liner, or a total bed liner product. All 3 options have their strengths and cons, but in this piece of writing I'm going to look at the positive aspects of the DualLiner cargo area protection system. The people at DualLiner have a document that displays the pro's & con's of all three styles of cargo area liners... and can be visited at DualLiner bedliners .

The makers of DualLiner sent one of their bed liner systems to us to set up on a 2004 Dodge Ram passenger truck. The first thing we spotted was how it was packed and mailed to the front door. Anything and everything you need to have is in one simple and easy to manage box, and it was mailed right to the doorway. No setting up visits or patiently waiting in line required.

The system is composed of 5 pieces... a front bed wall liner, two side wall liners, a tailgate liner, and a heavy duty, 3/8" thick rubber bed mat.

In-depth set up information are furnished with the system, and the step-by-step procedure made it very straightforward. Total installation time is less than 30 minutes, and can be executed by just one person. The only instruments required are a #40 and #27 Torx Driver; a ¼" drill bit, and drill.

The first step is to strip off the four cargo handles inside of the Dodge Ram's pickup bed. We also swept out a couple of bits of rubbish to ensure no further destruction could occur to the cargo area. The front pickup bed liner went on first, and just tucked over the top front rail of the pickup bed. Next were the two side pieces... make sure the upper edge of the liner is positioned below the bed rails. The front and side pieces are properly secured together with four friction-fit tabs (commonly referred to as push-in automotive fasteners). We then re-installed the four cargo handles, which in turn totally anchored the side panels. The fact that the top of the side panels fit beneath the cargo area rails gave the unit installation a very fresh and clean look.

The next stage is to install the tailgate liner to the tail gate. Take out the manufacturer Torx screws that hold down the access panel. Place the liner on the tail gate... the pre-drilled holes in the liner meet up totally with the factory holes. Re-install the Torx anchoring screws to the tailgate. There are four additional pre-drilled holes in the liner, which are found towards the bottom of the tailgate. This is where you will have to drill four ¼" holes in the tailgate. The system contains a tube of rust inhibitor... a little dab in every newly drilled hole will eliminate rust. The four holes are then plugged with additional push-in automotive fasteners.

The very last stage in the set up is to place the 3/8" thick rubber mat on the bed. There are grooves in the bottom of the side panels to which the mat fits in for a beautiful completed look.

So here you go - a before & after shot of the pickup truck pickup bed... which one do you prefer?

Here are a few things to pay attention to if you're thinking about purchasing the DualLiner cargo area protection system:

· Life time warranty - DualLiner lifetime warranty

· Made in the USA.

· DualLiner is sold for $399.00. Spray-in liners are $700 and up. How about a drop-in? They're improperly designed and will surely crack and diminish. Your cargo area will get cracked with one of these liners.

· The rubber pad helps ensure that almost nothing will slide around in the bed.

· Will not diminish or turn a "chalky" colour.

· Can be utilized with all variations of Tonneau tops and/or pickup bed rails.

In conclusion, we are rather delighted with this item. The user of the truck is quite joyful and stated this was almost certainly the quickest way to hide an ancient bed and make the passenger truck look great again. On a side note, I in fact had a DualLiner on my 2003 Dodge Ram passenger truck... when I traded the pickup three years later, the bed liner seemed as great as the first day it was fitted. I highly recommend this to passenger truck owners everywhere! Give DualLiner a call at (800) 992 -1949 or take a look at their website and enjoy the installation video tutorials at DualLiner install videos

Had several really terrible experiences with bed liners, any one ever heard about the site? 7 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
empty"/nnI've had several pickups and various designs of bed liners over the years, but I've never truly been satisfied with my liner, it always seems to leave my pickup beds ruined, no matter what i do. I quit driving pickup trucks for a few years but I am ordering a new one soon, and I found this site bed liner , anyone ever heard of it? This seems like it would possibly stop my loads from sliding all over.
